There are many things to do around this lovely country cottage. There are many restaurants in the local area that are walking distance away:

The Lifeboat Inn: 2 minute walk away- restaurant/pub
The Chequers: 10 minute walk away- pub/ pizza take away
Schucks Yurt: 10 minute walk away- restaurant/cafe
Eric’s fish and chips: 10 minute walk away- restaurant/ take away
Thornham Deli: 2 minute walk away – deli/cafe
Walking to the beach is a lovely 30 minute walk over the sea walls, or a quick 10 minute drive around Holme. You can also travel to Hunstanton which has a lot of shops and restaurants to offer as well as a large supermarket and activities such as bowling and a sea life centre. There is also a playing field across the main road which can be used and also a set of tennis courts (please bring own rackets if you wish to play)!
There is also the world famous bird reserve Titchwell marsh reserve, 2 miles away as well as the Holme bird reserve trust just over a mile away. These reserves lead to some excellent bird watching around the areas.
Additionally there is a championship 18 hole golf course with stunning views in Old Hunstanton which welcomes visitors and is a short 10 minute drive away.
During rainy days, inside the cottage there is a dolls house for children and a selection of games and jigsaws. There is also a selection of books and DVD’s in the cottage. Additionally a 20 minute drive away to Burnham Market there is a selection of shops and a spa for a bit of pampering for mum OR dad!
